COFFEE BAR EXPERIENCE
 

At Coffee Bar, you will work with and learn about Italian, modern espresso blends and single origin coffees carefully sourced and small-batch roasted from light to dark. You will work on Italian high-end manual espresso machines. Learn to make the perfect pour-over and how to dial in your coffee grind. You will become part of a growing team with potential for advancement.


At Coffee Bar, we look to hire people who are team players, have a good sense of humor, work hard, and want to grow with us. We take synergy and personality heavily into consideration. While it is helpful to have some foundation in coffee, we prefer an impressive, consistent job experience track record and someone who projects a strong work ethic. We encourage all who are interested to apply, regardless of coffee experience!

IMPORTANT INFO
 

Minimum Wage + historically $5-$8 per hour tips

Profit Share starting at 6 months
Locations: 101 Montgomery Street or 433 Kearny Street

 Primary Duties:

  • ​Provide consistent, fantastic customer service in a fast-paced environment

  • Actively participate in your ongoing education of coffee making skills & our products

  • Craft & serve an exceptional product that you are proud of

  • Adhere to local and company policies including: excellence in food safety, operational and behavioral expectations​

  • You and your team will complete daily duties that include: Helping/ talking with customers, cleaning (for example: taking out the trash, mopping, wiping down counters, dusting), re-stocking, preparing drinks, cashiering, preparing our house-made syrups, minimal food preparations, supporting baristas on bar, etc.

​

 Qualifications:

  • Interest in coffee and working in a customer focused environment

  • Willing to communicate effectively with team members and senior leadership

  • Ability to work well in a dynamic environment

  • Past experience in retail coffee desirable. *Previous customer service experience can substitute for this

  • Thrives on being part of a team experience
