Our Kearny Street cafe, the first place in the U.S. to feature an interior made from Shou Sugi Ban wood, won a national architectural award for its bold and unique approach. Shou Sugi Ban, with origins in Japan, is a process of burning wood and quickly cooling it, resulting in natural fireproofing, pest resistance, and a striking finish.

Coffee Bar Montgomery, winner of the American Institute of Architecture's 2021 Award for Interiors, and also named one of Architectural Digest's best modern coffee shop.
Once home to the Pacific Stock Exchange, this space is now a cathedral to coffee—where espresso is the new currency.
